Bafana Bafana won the Cosafa Cup final after winning against Botswana

Following last week quarterfinal defeat to Mozambique in the Cosafa Cup, there was some consolation for Bafana Bafana on Sunday as they secured their ticket to the competition’s final.

Playing against neighbor Botswana, Helman Mkhalele’s men won 2-1 thanks to goals from Antonio van Wyk and Selaelo Rasebotja.

Van Wyk opened the scoring for South Africa in the 34th minute to give Bafana a 1-0 lead in the first half before Rasebotja doubled the lead in the second half.

Thato Kebue scored for Botswana in the final minutes of the encounter.
