Playing against neighbor Botswana, Helman Mkhalele’s men won 2-1 thanks to goals from Antonio van Wyk and Selaelo Rasebotja.
Van Wyk opened the scoring for South Africa in the 34th minute to give Bafana a 1-0 lead in the first half before Rasebotja doubled the lead in the second half.
Thato Kebue scored for Botswana in the final minutes of the encounter.
