Rangnick updates the situation of Maguire and Ronaldo
Speaking after the Burnley draw, Harry Maguire admitted Manchester United currently have serious problems that need to be improved. Talking to BT Sport, the British star shared (quoted by Man Utd’s official website):
“In football, everyone knows that the second goal is important. It makes you a little more comfortable, and then you can really express yourself.”
“We needed to win, we knew the number of chances we created. We need to be more precise, find the second goal.”

In fact, Maguire also performed quite disappointingly.
“Marching to places like this, of course we want to control the game. But for sure, you won’t be in control for 90 minutes.”
“Even if you’re playing well, they’ll still have 5-10 minutes to show. We played well throughout the game, but there was a period where the whole team had to work harder.”
“We needed to not concede in that moment, I think, the same thing happened with Middlesbrough on Friday. We conceded a goal when they put a little bit of pressure. But, of course, we created enough chances in the first half to win, and everyone needs to be a little more precise.”
“Definitely two points were dropped.”
